Livy had so much fun with her dad on his day off! John is on his nephrology rotation now, and while he is really enjoying the work, the extra long 13-15 hour days mean that sometimes several days go by without him seeing Livy at all. They miss each other so much, and when he is gone Livy asks for him and wants to know where he is pretty much…constantly! But today they had a lovely lazy day together, making trains, napping & snuggling, coloring, building towers, playing a gig with their band, dancing, and cooking. I’m pretty sure riding in the makeshift “choo-choo” they put together (with Livy as the conductor in her amazon box-turned-engine) was her favorite.
